Peder Vilhelm Jensen-Klint
Architect and civil engineer, 1853 - 1930

Architect and master of engineering P.V. Jensen-Klint folded the very first Le Klint lampshade to fit a paraffin lamp he also designed
P.V. Jensen-Klint was also the main architect of the Grundtvig Church in Copenhagen.
P.V. Jensen-Klint was the father of sons Tage and Kaare Klint, who were respectively the founder of the company Le Klint and an architect, furniture designer, and visual artist.

The photo shows the Klint family gathered around the parents, Mathilde and Peder Vilhelm Jensen-Klint, around 1926. In the center of the top row sits Mathilde Klint, with her son Tage Klint to the left and daughter Helle Klint to the right. On the far left is Tage’s eldest son, Jan Klint. Seated on the far right is Kaare Klint with his youngest son, Naur.
On the floor, from left to right, are Kaare Klint’s son Esben Klint; Tage Klint’s daughter Lise Le Charlotte Klint; Tage’s son Sejr Klint; and Kaare’s middle son, Morten Klint. At the very front sits Helle’s son, Peder Vilhelm, named after his grandfather, Peder Vilhelm Jensen-Klint – who most likely took the photo and is therefore not pictured.
