Le Klint's floor lamps are produced for the purpose of providing supplementary lighting in those areas of the room in which there is either a need for functional lighting or for mood lighting. A functional light might for example be placed next to an armchair to provide enough light to read by, but floor lamps may also be placed in corners to give an air of comfort and some mood lighting. 

The Model 325, the Model 349 and the Carronade series furthermore allow you to adjust the lamp to direct light to where it is needed.
