Urchina

Urchina is a collection of pleated pendants inspired by the distinctive form of the sea urchin. Its carefully folded surface creates a sculptural expression, with light and shadow accentuating the rhythm of the folds.

Designed by Jette Scheib, the series draws on our tradition of hand-folded lampshades. The folding technique gives Urchina its distinctive sculptural form, while allowing the light to filter softly through the shade. Details in oak add warmth and emphasise the connection between the organic design language and the natural materials.

Urchina is available in three sizes and is designed as a calm yet distinctive addition to the interior – whether placed above a dining table or used to illuminate larger spaces.

The series is produced in Odense, Denmark, with shades carefully folded by hand.
